THIRD ANNUAL INTER-NERD GATHERING

Saturday, July 20 at 12:00 noon
William Hawrelak Park

We'll be meeting up with the Edmonton Edmonton Harry Potter Club, the Pure Speculation Festival Society, Edmonton Potterwatch, and possibly others.

There will be a modified potluck, which means everybody brings whatever they want on the barbecue for themselves to eat (be it meat or non-meat!) and a side dish or dessert or snack-type-thing to share with the group. If possible, please try to bring your own dishes and cutlery.

For those busy folks who can't bring their own food, there will be the option to purchase a burger/pop combo for $5 or just a pop for $1.

Come dressed as your favourite character (be it from Harry Potter, or any other Geek or Fandom character you like!) in their summerwear. Darth Vader in a Hawaiian shirt? Wizards in bathing suits? BRING IT ON!!! There will be prizes for the best costumes! Also, bring water guns! And frisbees! And bubbles! And anything else that would be fun without making a mess or hurting anybody!

THE TIME TRAVELLER'S BALL - A time-displaced New Years Masquerade!

Saturday, December 29 at 8:00 pm
Happy Harbor Comics, 10729 - 104 Ave

We know that the Holiday season can be busy, so we've arranged for a localized Time Vortex, for one night only, to transport attendees forward in time two days, and back again, allowing them the unprecedented opportunity to celebrate New Years Eve twice this year!

It will be a costume party, with prizes for the best costumes! There will be music for dancing, tables and games for those who prefer to be still, and nibblies for all to share.

Advance sales are over - A limited amount will be available at the door for $25. No minors.

There will be some silent auction items with proceeds going to the non-profit Pure Spec festival and the charity Crystal Kids! Plus door prizes and general silliness!
