A friendly little sf&f festival in Edmonton, AB, Canada, Pure Speculation is held every year in October. Currently in our fifth year, we give the geeks of Edmonton a chance to celebrate their passion with a weekend packed with authors, panels, merchants, costumes, games, and demonstrations. Let the trumpets sound! The fickle gods of scheduling have decreed that Monte Cook will once again be attending this year's Pure Speculation Festival! We knew Monte couldn't stand to stay away from us for a whole year. We are happy to welcome him back to the Pure Spec 09 line up; look for him sharing panels with Wolfgang Baur and Amber E. Scott, and of course at a certain Charity gaming table...
